Bidens tripartita, commonly called Three-lobe Beggarticks, Three-part Beggarticks, Leafy-bracted Beggarticks or Trifid Bur-marigold,is a dicot weed in the Asteraceae family.It is a flowering plant in the genus Bidens.Bidens tripartita was used in a clinical trial to treat 500 cases of dysentery, 65 cases of acute enteritis, 248 cases of chronic enteritis.It has traditionally been used in many herbal remedies including astringent, diuretic, gallbladder tonic and kidney tonic.
